Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you might want to know about our handmade toys, workshops, and orders.

Are your toys really made entirely by hand?

Yes, every single piece is knitted by hand by me, one stitch at a time. There is no machine production and no team, just one knitting artist. Because of that, each toy is unique and small variations in size, color, and expression are part of the handmade charm.

What materials do you use, and are the toys safe for children?

I work primarily with soft, high-quality yarns and hypoallergenic stuffing. For amigurumi and toys, I use securely embroidered or tightly fastened features rather than loose small parts wherever possible. If a piece is intended as a decorative item rather than a baby toy, I note that in the description, so please check before gifting to very young children.

Can I request a custom or personalized piece?

Absolutely. Custom commissions are some of my favorite work, whether it is a specific animal, a color palette to match a nursery, or a keepsake based on a beloved pet. Reach out with your idea and I will let you know current turnaround times, since each custom piece is knitted from scratch just for you.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Ready-made pieces usually ship within a few business days. Made-to-order and custom items take longer because they are knitted individually, typically one to three weeks depending on the size and my current queue. I will always share an estimated timeline before you commit to a custom order.

Tell me about the master-class knitting workshops.

I teach hands-on master-class workshops for makers who want to learn knitting and amigurumi techniques directly from me. Sessions cover everything from foundational stitches to shaping and finishing your own little creatures, at a relaxed pace suited to your level. Reach out to hear about upcoming dates, group sizes, and whether in-person or online spots are available.
